Throughout my journey of GIS and Cartography over this term, GIS Science shapes my understanding of the world around us through the scope of geospatial analysis. It also helps me find a new way to interpret the world that we are living in as I realized many existing issues were addressed with the help of GIS Science (e.g. throughout my final project, I used ArcGIS with a variety of analysis tools to determine ecologically sensitive areas from pipeline extension). From the coursework, I also realized the presence of margins of errors (and uncertainties) that are always associated with GIS Science.
